AGM X3: A Rugged Device With 8 GB RAM & Android Oreo OS

AGM X3 is a rugged smartphone from Chinese smartphone maker – AGM. The OEM focuses on production of smartphones majorly in the rugged segment. It’s of no surprise that AGM X3 is a rugged smartphone. The rugged nature of this smartphone can be seen in its IP68 outdoor certification which guarantees the device is not only water resistant but also dust resistance. Its plastic and metal build also express this nature. Although the smartphone hasn’t been launched officially, find out more about the device as we step further in the article.

Design And Display

The smartphone is made up of plastic and metal with its build not so attractive to the lover of beautiful smartphones. Don’t forget, it’s a rugged device. At the rear, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup, dual tone dual-LED flash and its AGM logo. The top bezel consists of some sensors, earpiece and a single camera. Dedicated keys such as power button and volume keys are present. Features such as 3.5 mm audio jack and Type-C USB are supported on the mobile. Black is the only color it is sending to have at the moment.

In the display section, a 5.99-inch display is available. The screen display is of the AMOLED origin. It has 152 mm length, and also has a screen protection to itself. The display’s clarity is controlled by a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density. Asides these features, 24 bit color depth and multi-touch input are further technical specs of the mobile’s display section.

Camera

At the back, the smartphone is blessed with a dual camera setup of 24 MP camera and 12 MP camera to handle snapping of images and recording videos. In low light conditions, a dual tone dual-LED flash provides brightness. Auto focus, touch focus, CMOS sensor and face detection are other specs of its rear camera. Also in the camera region, the front section has a 20 MP shooter for snapping selfies. Face ID is also supported in this front camera section.

CPU, OS & Storage

The much anticipated Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is the system-on-chip located on the smartphone. It is coupled with an Octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU that clocks at 2.8 GHz. Graphics on the mobile is taken care of by the Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. In the software department, Android Oreo OS delivers the major functions. With options of 6 GB and 8 GB in the RAM category, the smartphone is crisp for multitasking. The internal storage also males the device appealing in variables of 64 GB and 128 GB. Even at that, it can be expanded to 256 GB without the use of a MicroSD card.

  2. I most say. Stupidity has no limit. Phones are equipped with 8 GB RAM without real use, and it increases costs of RAMs for PCs/Laptops that consequently starve…
