AllCall Rio S 4G smartphone: Dual camera on a budget

Everyone wants a device that has the latest or trendiest feature on it at the cost of nothing. Well, that seem to be coming to past of recent, all thanks to Chinese smartphone companies.

AllCall is the latest smartphone manufacturer based in Hong Kong, China that brings quality devices with lovely specs to the people at a really affordable price Let’s see what the AllCall Rio S has to offer.

Looking at the AllCall Rio S at first sight, the curved edges and the small bezels are things you would most likely first notice. The device has a really beautifully designed front with the screen, proximity sensor, secondary camera, and home button occupying the front space.

At the back, the cover is a glossy one covered with fingerprint and dust resistant oil-coating. The AllCall Rio S is available in 4 colour options for buyers to choose from – Red, Black, Blue and Gold.

Moving back to the front, the Rio S has a large 5.5 inch High Definition (HD) display. The display is an In-Plane Switching (IPS) type and has a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

The AllCall Rio S smartphone runs on a 1.3 GHz processor with four cores (Quad core). The chip used is a MediaTek MT6737 chipset. There is an available 2 GB of RAM which should handle multitasking quite well. However, there’s a disappointing software issue. The Rio S runs on an old operating system – the Android v5.0 Lollipop. I mean, it’s 2017 and most devices are already gearing up for the Android v8.0 Oreo update and AllCall decided to have the Lollipop OS run on he Rio S? Quite disappointing I must say.

The AllCall Rio S is a budget smart phone, super affordable. The device cost between $79 – $89, depending on location of purchase.
