Allview P10 Max Specs Review, Scaled Back Edition of P10 Pro

Allview P10 Max and Allview P10 Pro are siblings. They also both arrived in the same month of April 2019. If you hear about a certain Allview P10 Life, some say it could also be alluding to this same smartphone. It comes as a lesser featured-mobile device than the P10 Pro. You can find the differences in not just one area but in several departments including display, battery, storage. But the phone seems to be better at the camera department. Let’s take a better look at each of these features.

Design and Display

Dimensions are 77.7 x 160.7 x 8.3 mm. it weighs 172 grams and that includes the battery weight. This smartphone is not a waterproof designed mobile device but it has a fingerprint technology.

The smartphone is also seen to be an IPS capacitive touchscreen which is able to handle 16 million colors at the screen. Also, the size of the screen is 5.99 inches, the screen resolution is found to 480 x 960 pixels, whereas, pixel density is 179 ppi. The screen protection at the display is Dragontrail glass.

Camera Features

The camera to the rear is 13 MP and shoots 4160 x 3120 image pixels while the video shoot is able to produce 1920 x 1080 pixels. There is dual LED flash technology in the P10 Max. The front camera is composed of 5 MP (Some reviews say it is also 13 MP) and for sure, both cameras are equipped with auto focus, touch focus, continuous shooting, HDR, panorama and other features.

Hardware and Software

Allview P10 Max is very strong with MediaTek MT6739 at the performance department. To ensure that it strengthen things, there’s also ARM Cortex A53 1300 MHz Cores 4 CPU, as in the case of its peers, and PowerVR GE8100 570 MHz.  But that is not all, as the Allview phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition with its own user interface. Surely, as in the case of P10 Pro, this will be able to upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie through its firmware.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The Allview P10 Max is a 4G Android phone that makes use of micro SIMs. Also, it can accommodate two of these SIMs. As also noted, the phone operates with 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE. It also has GSM, WCDMA, and LTE. On the other side, you can also find components like Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB, audio jack, and other features.

Battery Power

Powering the Allview P10 Max is a non-removable Li-Po 2400 mAh battery. The mobile device does not have wireless charging or fast charging supports. The talk time and standby times are not specified but probably, the smartphone may be able to take the user up to a full day of use without a charge.
