The new A12 bionic chipset is the first ever 7nm chipset which Apple says is the fastest chipset on any Smartphone in the world. The new chipset promises CPU performance of up to 15% faster when compared to the older A11 bionic chipset found on the iPhone X. The GPU performance is also 50% faster on the new A12 bionic chipset which means Gaming as well AR experience should be a breeze. Power efficiency is also 50% better on the A12 so the battery should last a lot longer on the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max.

IP68 Rating

The IP68 Rating on the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max means it can stay submerged in water up to 2 meters for a whole 30 minutes. This is a huge leap forward as the previous iPhone X was only IP67 certified which could only go underwater of about 1 meter for about half the time the iPhone Xs and Xs Max could. The max storage on the iPhone X was 256GB. Now, given the fact that the there is no memory card slot on iPhones, the storage space is always a big deal.
