BlackBerry Evolve arrives as a smartphone that distinguishes itself from the age-long BlackBerry phones we always knew. This device, although a BlackBerry product, is loyal to the Android kingdom with the anticipation of its release as an Android Oreos 8.1 smartphone.
First to note is that those who don’t want to spend much cash on smartphones but want something in the mid-range level performance when it comes to chipsets and performance can go for this device; BlackBerry Evolve is a good choice.

Design and Screen Preview
The screen is beautiful. It looks very much like Android and Windows phones that are popular now in the smartphone markets. The body and screen are long and wide enough for you to enjoy watching your favorite movies. That’s an improvement over the ‘veteran’ BlackBerry phones of heydays.
No QWERTY board! Alas, someone may say, that is an aspect that BlackBerry can’t do without. But the company has done without it. It’s sort of like if you can’t beat them, join them. What this means is that holding a BlackBerry Evolve in the palm of your hands make you feel an exciting sensation.

The BlackBerry Evolve has a dual camera setup as you can also find in Evolve X. The camera is 13 MP in two places. Both boast 3L8 sensors. The Evolve is capable of HDR, an aspect missing from its big brother Evolve X. You can count on this as one advantage.
On the other hand, the selfie snapper is 16 MP equipped with LED flash. Count on the camera power if you one of those who can’t do without taking high-resolution pictures.
Battery Power and Charging
BlackBerry Evolve sports 4000 mAh battery which commentators say is large enough. However, unlike its big brother Evolve X, the Evolve misses out on wireless charging. Also, it doesn’t possess the ability for quick charging wherein the power is enough to give a spectacular battery life.
Platform and Memory
The Evolve comes with 4 GB RAM. That isn’t up to the Evolve X capacities which moves up to 6 GB RAM. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, against Evolve X 660 chipset. Not too bad for users who haven’t tasted anything higher than those in the past.
Pricing and Availability
For BlackBerry Evolve, the performance is a little lower than that of Evolve X. Therefore, pricing will be lower. At this time, speculations have it that the price tag for BlackBerry Evolve is around $365, not bad because it’s a little lower than the price of Evolve X.
The Evolve will be out in the market by mid-September as Amazon exclusive although its release will be sometime in the month of August. The two phones should hit the market at once. Surprisingly, those who love fancy colors will find the phones available only in black.
