However, this is quite justifiable by the price of the device – since it’s in the low-end spectrum of smartphones. You can also increase the internal storage space to 256GB via a microSD card.

Surprisingly, the Bluboo D1 comes running with the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Running apps on this device can be smooth for most casual apps and games, but it’s performance is sure to throttle down on heavy, intensive games.

Cameras

For photography, the Bluboo D1 uses a dual camera setup at both the front and back – a first of its kind. There’s an 8MP and 2MP combination for the rear dual camera setup and another dual camera setup of 5MP + 0.3MP combination at the front.

Normally, the rear camera only makes use of the 8MP sensor for capturing images. If you want to use the 2MP sensor in combination with the 8MP, then you’ll need to switch to the “DSLR” mode which allows you to experience the “bokeh” effect. The same can also be achieved with the dual front camera setup.
