Bluboo S9 is the latest smartphone that will be giving Samsung’s Galaxy S9 a run for its money. The Bluboo S9 is a Galaxy S9 Clone that is ready to battle it out with Samsung’s most powerful smartphone. This is an update to the Bluboo S8 and S8 Plus.
It houses the Helio X30 MT6799 chip which was built on a 10nm process technology just like the Snapdragon 845. There’s 8GB RAM space available, 128GB storage space and support for Face ID. The Galaxy S9 might have just met its match.
In this article we talk about:
The S9 has a aluminium alloy overall unibody and covered exquisitely in glass. It looks even more attractive than the Galaxy S9 and reflects light more beautifully. It has the same curved sides and edges the Galaxy S9 is known for.
At the top, we can see the dual shooters and fingerprint scanner have been moved up a little with the LED flash sitting in the same position. This was done to look almost identical to Samsung’s Galaxy S9. The LED flash should have been moved to the right to complete the equation.
You get 15% more score here than you did on the Bluboo S8, the bottom chin has been drastically reduced, it’s almost invisible. While the top bezel still remains the same to be able to accommodate the usual features.
The 6.2-inch curved AMOLED touchscreen is absolutely stunning boasting of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution. Details on the screen is clear enough with its 402 pixel per inch density. There’s a Corning Gorilla Glass on top, as the screen got up to 85% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Helio X30 MT6799 chip comes on-board with its 10nm process technology and 10-cores of processor. The deca-core processor here clocks at a fast speed of 2.5GHz, while the PowerVR GT7400 Plus graphics processor clocks at 800MHz.
You get a massive 8GB of RAM space available here, that’s x2 the RAM space on the Galaxy S9. The RAM space also has a memory speed of 3.7GHz, which is impressive. There’s 128GB storage space, you can upgrade up to 256GB using a memory card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
At the rear, it’s equipped with dual 16MP + 16MP camera, both of the cameras has f/2.0 aperture and captures stunning photographs. While the selfie shooter has been bumped up to a 12MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a front LED flash as well.
Powering the Bluboo S9 is a 4500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
