BQ Mobile launched a cheap Android smartphone in the month of August 2018. In spite of the fact that the smartphone is cheap, it comes in good enough features that anyone would love because it justifies the price for which it is sold. The screen is large enough to do anything and aspect ratio is just as well at par with that of other smartphones.
BQ Aquaris C Design and Display
This device is primarily made up of polycarbonate material. The dimensions are 70.9 x 144.5 x 8.3 mm. Moreover, it weighs 150 grams but it is not water resistant. The BQ Aquaris C comes in black and white colors. The display type is HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The screen size is 5.45 inches.
Screen resolution is 720 x 1440 pixels with 16 million colors. Furthermore, the pixel density is 295 pixels per inch and the aspect ratio is 18:9. The screen to body ratio is 75.06 percent. BQ Aquaris C is scratch resistant, without a secondary display.
In the camera department, the rear shooter is 13 MP with LED flash capacities and the video quality is 1080p@30fps FHD recording. Auto focus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, exposure compensation, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, 5-element lens, and more.
For the front camera, there is 5 MP of f/2.2 aperture. However, there is no front flash. Suffice to say that the camera department is of moderate features, which will not appeal to high-end smartphone users. Resolution of the camera and data from other models shows it could have the same or similar camera resolution.
Hardware and Software of BQ Aquaris C
Android 8.1 is the operating software on BQ Aquaris C. This can be upgraded to the latest Android 9 Pie. On the other hand, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 SoC chipset is the driving force in the device. It comes with process technology 28nm. This works with Octa-core 1.4 GHz 4-Cores, 64-bit architecture. The GPU is Qualcomm Adreno 308 2-Cores.
BQ Aquaris C Storage Capacity
The storage capacity in the device is 2GB of RAM which is not able to expand, while the internal storage is 16GB. The internal storage is expandable through the use of microSD card up to 128GB.
Network and Connectivity
Network components in the device are 2G, 3G, and 4G. This means the BQ Aquaris C is GSM, WCDMA, and LTE. There are two Nano SIM card slots in the device and any of these can handle 4G LTE. Other connectivity features in the BQ Aquaris C are Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB 2.0, HDMI, and more.
Sensors in the device include fingerprint at the rear, accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, and compass.
Powering this device is a 3000 mAh battery, which has no fast charging technology. However, you may be able to charge the device fully in about two hours. Also, there is no wireless charging technology.

BQ Aquaris C is selling for about $130 USD. Prices may be different from portals to portal. It was unveiled on August 2018 and is very much available for purchase whether online or offline.
