Change DNS on Smart TV

If you use your Smart TV to browse, access services and websites, you may need to change your DNS to be able to access all websites without incorrect blocks or redirects. Here is that by changing the DNS (Domain Name Server) on our device, we will be able to access everything again without blocking.

The DNS are of the Servers that take care of translating an IP Address into a Name, for example, if in the address bar you write 64.233.167.99 it will refer you to the site www.google.it. So the DNS are Servers that convert the IPs to the name displayed in the URL bar so that they can be stored faster than a series of numbers.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change DNS on all Smart TVs, even on some Samsung models that use the Tizen OS operating system and therefore all the latest ones sold in Italy. Here in this article, we will guide you step by step on how to configure DNS on Samsung Smart TV.

On all other models of different brands, it is not possible to change the DNS. If there is any model that allows it, let us know in the comments.
