Design & Display
The thinker’s body is of high quality and solidly built as it uses a full-metal frame. However, at 1.5 kilos, this notebook PC is a bit too heavy.
The thinker i35’s keyboard is also great and has a nice touchpad as well. However, there is no backlighting for the keyboard, which is pretty sad.
The display on the thinker i35 is a fully laminated one with a scratch resistant glass stretching 13.5-inches diagonally. This display also has support for Microsoft’s Surface Pen. It is also interesting to note that the display that can turn through 180 degrees.
Hardware, OS & Performance
You get a type-C USB 3.1 port on this laptop in addition to two normal USB 3.0 ports, a fingerprint reader – located on the touchpad – and a fast processor as strong points of the thinker i35 notebook. The CPU, an Intel Core M3-7Y30 is not only fast but is also energy efficient.
The Cube thinker i35 comes with a 256GB SSD storage and 8GB of RAM. Combining the processor, the fast storage and RAM, this laptop should deliver well on games and apps. There’s no microSD card slot with this laptop, which isn’t a really big deal as all the USB ports on the thinker i35 can power external HDDs.
Microsoft’s Windows 10 is the OS running on the Cube thinker i35. As such, you get access to a large ecosystem of apps and games at your disposal.
The Cube thinker i35 has a 2MP webcam at the front, just above the screen. The quality of this camera is about average, but should be enough for video chatting.
The battery capacity on this device is 5000mAh and should give you around 6 to 8 hours on the average. The charger is rated at 12V/3A for a shorter charging time.
