Cubot Power

The new Power smartphone sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody that exudes elegance and style. The device can be used as a fashion statement, thanks to its sleek sides and curved edges. The rear is also covered exquisitely in glass, making the device more premium.

In terms of camera placement, the Power smartphone stands out from the trendy left-sided position. With the rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner all horizontal at the top middle. Because of its massive battery capacity, it measures 9.4mm in thickness and weighs 215g. It was launched in Black but will be available in Rose Gold as well.

In 2018, chances are, you won’t see a flagship smartphone that’s not bezel-less. Cubot already tried the trending notch with the Cubot P20, so they opted for the standard bezel-less screen with the Cubot Power. There are no narrow bezels in sight, with super minimal top and bottom bezel.

The massive 6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen exudes 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 402 pixel per inch density for sharp and clear visuals. Protecting the screen, is a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 as it stretches up to 80% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Working underneath is the MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T chip with an octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a blazing speed of 2.5GHz with 16nm process technology. Running graphics is the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores clocking at 770MHz.

A massive 6GB RAM space is available for multitasking with a memory speed of 1.6GHz. While the storage space is 64GB strong and ready to accommodate all your files and apps. You can always upgrade up to 256GB using a memory card. The Cubot Power runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Camera

The phone packs 20MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 5P Lens and capture photographs with 5164 x 3873 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with all the usual features and a LED flash for photographs in low light. For selfies, there’s a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture as well.

Battery

Powering the Cubot Power is a 6000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2.4 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
