Digma Linx Argo 3G of course, is one of the entry-level phones that was released in February 2019. This is not a lot for savvy smartphone users who would do anything for very fast performance, high quality camera lenses, and powerful batteries. Everything about this device is actually on the low.
However, we can be happy about the other features in the phone. But hey! This is not a 4G Android, so it means that browsing will be a little slow. It appears then that the handset is for young people or others who want just the basic features.
Design and Display
The Digma Linx Argo 3G is a plastic and metal design handset, which comes with 66 x 133 x 9.73 mm dimensions and it weighs 124 grams. It comes with black, gold, and blue colors. However, it is not a waterproofed phone.
At the display we find 4.5 inches screen size, which is less than ideal. The display type is TN, but there is no secondary display. The screen resolution is 480 x 854 pixels. Display colors are 16 million. Pixel density is 218 pixels per inch. It is a touchscreen handset, with capacitive multi-touch features, among many other features.
There are two cameras here; one at the rear and one at the front. The rear camera is 2 MP which comes with LED flash option. At the front for selfies is a 0.31 MP camera, which does not have LED flash features.
Hardware & Software
Digma Linx Argo 3G runs on Android OS v8.1 Oreo, which is able to upgrade to the latest Android Pie. The CPU is ARM Cortex A7, 1300 MHz, Cores 4, while the GPU is ARM Mali-400 MP2, 500 MHz, cores 2.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
At the storage capacity area, the Digma Linx Argo 3G has 512 MB and that cannot be increased no matter what. For internal storage there is 8 BG and that can be increased with a microSD card. Fortunately, there is only accelerometer as the sensor in this device.
Network and Connectivity
Digma Linx Argo 3G is simply that. There is no 4G LTE for the device. Browsing will be rather slow when compared with 4G Android phones. Also, this phone makes use of standard SIM. Being a 3G phone, the user has the opportunity for both 2G and 3G usage.
Other network components found in the Digma Linx Argo 3G handset are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and USB 2.0. There is no provision for infrared, NFC, or HDMI.
Powering the device is Li-Po 1700 mAh removable battery. Being removable, once the power gets too low, the user can change it to a new one. However, this battery has no wireless charging nor fast charging options and standby or talk time is not calculated in this review.
Price and Availability
The official price of Digma Linx Argo 3G is $60. You can compare prices online but you will get the best deal below if you check it out on time. Having been released in February, this phone is now available.
