After a lot of comparison videos released last year, OnePlus 5T and Google Pixel 2 XL met again, but this time in a speed test.

The OnePlus 5T – which undergoes a real-time battery test by MobileCell at the time of production of this text – was used in the video with Android 8.0 Oreo equipped. It features a Snapdragon 835 octa-core 2.45 GHz chipset, Adreno 540 GPU and has variants of 6 or 8 GB of RAM.

The Google Pixel 2 XL – which has received the Android 8.1 Oreo since the beginning of December last year – also comes equipped with Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU. But, unlike the competitor, it has 4 GB of RAM.

As you can see in the video, there was a balance between the performance of both handsets. While the Pixel 2 XL excelled at startup, the OnePlus 5T took the best in opening most applications, but without a big time difference for the rival.

Both handsets are not available in Brazil. However, the OnePlus 5T can be purchased through the foreign website GearBest, which makes deliveries here in the country. While the 6GB version of RAM and 64GB of ROM can be found for $ 550.99, the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space is available starting at $ 700.71.
