Nigeria Telecom providers, MTN, GLO, Airtel and Etisalat are once more on their data wars; the struggle to get more customers. Etisalat seems to have noticed a decline in their data patronage even with their poppycock night plan, Etisalat is here to make little adjustments to its night plan cost. Everyone, without stressing the brain can now make a choice between these data warlords; MTN, GLO, Airtel and Etisalat depending on users’ geographical area.
It is obvious nowadays that people use more data daily than airtime, except for few who find it difficult to utilise social networks like Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter or Skype to communicate with others.
Do not forget that Airtel and MTN still offer the same 500MB at the rate of N25 for night surfers and heavy downloaders while GLO, on the other hand, gives 1GB of data for just N200. All these struggles have forced Etisalat to launch its almost cheap midnight package as well.
Etisalat is arguably one of the best telecom providers with the fastest and stable network for downloading without fear. But the downside is that Etisalat night plan is still expensive when compared to other networks. It cost N50 to get just 250MB.
The new Etisalat night plan is only available to all Easycliq customers and works on all devices and operating systems just like other night plans. Its usability period kicks off at exactly 12:00 am and ends 5:00 am. Well, at least you too could try it out.
Here’s how to subscribe to the New Etisalat Nigeria Night Data Plan
- First off, you need to migrate to Easycliq tariff plan on your Etisalat line by dialling *244*1#
- Make sure you have minimum airtime balance of N50
- Dial *229*10*10# to activate your 250MB night plan data (12:00am - 5:00am)
Well, if 250MB will not be sufficient for you, here how to subscribe to the Glo Midnight plan of N200 for 1GB:
- Recharge N200 on your Glo line
- Dial *127*60# to activate the plan.
This data plan works on both your smartphone and your PC.
I still wonder what is stopping Etisalat from making its new midnight plan N50 for 2GB. What do you think about this newly introduced Etisalat midnight data subscription?
