Fallout 76: here is the gameplay trailer

Bethesda Softworks has released the "Welcome to West Virginia Gameplay Video" about the newly announced survival role-playing game.

The Fallout 76 Gameplay Trailer shows the new features of the graphics engine and the game environments of West Virginia where the story will take place. You can see the new lighting system and admire the variety of scenarios, as West Virginia of Fallout 76 will be subdivided into six different regions. There is no shortage of gameplay details.

“From the forests of the Appalachians to the crimson expanses of the Cranberry Bog, each region offers its own risks and benefits: post-nuclear America has never been so beautiful!” we read between the accompanying notes.

The new chapter will have a different setting than the previous Fallouts, closer than the Great War and therefore with a world more similar to the pre-nuclear world. The Vault 76 referenced by the title has already been cited in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. This is one of the Vault-Tec Vaults checks in the Washington DC area that is used as a starting point for the design of experimental vaults. It is scheduled to open 20 years after the nuclear conflict that represents the starting point of the Fallout story.

The Great War in the Fallout universe is the nerve event that moves history. It exploded on October 23, 2077, and lasted only one day, when nuclear weapons were launched from all nations with nuclear capabilities. Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, however, have a subsequent contextualization, since the respective events are set 150 and 200 years after the nuclear explosions.
