The Etisalat Last Call Notification service has been around for a while but majority of us are not aware of this. The last call notification feature notifies you of the amount of airtime spent on a call, and the duration of the call immediately just after hanging up.

Well, that is why we are here today, we will be discussing how to activate and deactivate the Etisalat Last Call Notification service on your phone.

I am in no doubt many of Etisalat users do receive such SMS after ending calls. Seems Etisalat by default subscribe all customers to this service. Etisalat last call notification to me has always been a spam because of the unnecessary messages received each time I drop calls. I later came to a decision and decided to opt out of the last call notification service when it is no longer useful and interesting to me. Although, some might find this service useful and interesting, and to others, a spam.

Let us just head straight to the point without wasting so much time, because time is money and money is time. I am going to show you how to successfully deactivate this service if you are no longer interested in it.

How to Cancel, Stop or Opt-Out of Etisalat Last Call Notification

To deactivate the Etisalat Last Call Notification:

  • kindly dial *262*2# on your phone.
  • You will receive a confirmation message afterwards.

How to Re-activate or Opt-In to Etisalat Last Call Notification

  • If you feel like activating this service, then dial *262*1#. You will receive a confirmation message afterwards.

If you have any problem in regards to how to activate and deactivate the Etisalat Last Call Notification service on your phone, kindly leave a comment below.

Many people have complained about the slow internet connection of their Sony Xperia smartphones. Some say the problem occurs when apps like Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter are being used on the phone.

Sony Xperia XZ

There are many reasons behind slow internet connection on Sony Xperia smartphones, and before we talk about how to solve the internet connection problem, we are going to look at the causes of the slow internet connection on Xperia phones.

Common reasons why Sony Xperia smartphones’ Internet connection is slow:

  • Outdated browser software or browser software requires an update.
  • Exceeded data speed limit or speed reduction is reached.
  • The website is under heavy load or too many users accessing the site.
  • Device memory is low.
  • Apps running in the background.
  • Poor Wi-Fi network.
  • Internet cache is corrupted or full.
  • Update the Sony Xperia smartphone firmware.
  • Network congestion or too many users on the network.
  • Poor signal or low signal strength.

As we have seen the possible reasons why your Sony Xperia smartphone internet connection might be lagging above, you should check your phone to see which of these is the problem. After you have checked the cause but still can’t figure out what to do, follow these steps below to fix your problem.

1. Check The WiFi Of The Xperia Phone

You have to be sure that the WiFi on the device is turned off as it may be connected to a weak network or a network with a weak signal, and this may end up being the cause of the slow internet connection.

Turn off the WiFi by following these steps:

  • Go to your phone menu.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on the ‘Connections’ option.
  • Select WiFi.
  • Click on the toggle button to turn the WiFi on and off.

2. Clear Caches On Sony Xperia Phone

Having too much cache on your phone slows down your phone internet speed at times, and so, clearing cache on your Sony Xperia will probably increase your phone’s internet speed.

Follow the steps below to clear your phone cache:

  • Turn on your Sony Xperia smartphone
  • Go to Settings.
  • Click on App Manager
  • Find and Choose app you want to clear the cache for
  • After you have selected the app, look for the app info screen
  • Select the Clear Cache
  • However, to clear the app cache for all apps, go to Settings > Storage
  • Select Cached Data to clear all app caches simultaneously.

In most cases, after clearing the phone cache, the internet speed issue should be solved but if the problem persists, completing a wipe cache partition.

3. Scan Sony Xperia Smartphone For Malware

If the above do not work then you should try scanning your Sony Xperia phone for malware.

4. Get Technical Support

If you have done all these and your internet connection speed is still slow, then the last option is to seek technical assistance.

Have you been experiencing a slow internet connection on your Android smartphone? Do let us know in the comment section below.

There are many ways to reset Android phones in general, but almost all of them involve you completing a hard factory reset and doing this can result in you losing all your data or file saved on your phone. The following are simple guides on how to reset the lock screen password on Samsung Galaxy phones using any of the three different methods below:

1. Reset Password with Factory Reset

  • Turn off your Samsung Galaxy phone.
  • Press and hold the Volume increase button, the power button and the home button of your phone all at a time until the android icon appears on the screen.
  • Using the volume up and down buttons to scroll and the power button to select, choose the Wipe data/ factory reset option.
  • Select Yes – delete all user data.
  • After the Galaxy phone has been rebooted, then use the Power button to select it.
  • When the Galaxy phone restarts, all data and files will be wiped and will be ready to set up again.

The guide below is an alternative method to factory reset the Samsung Galaxy phone. It is is very much important to note that before you go ahead to do a factory reset on your Samsung Galaxy phone, all files and information should be backed up to prevent data loss.

2. Reset Password with Samsung Find My Mobile

Another method which we would talk about is using Samsung Find My Mobile/Find My Android. This is quite similar to Find My iPhone. This feature lets you have access to your Samsung Galaxy phone without having your password for a short while. Before you can be able to use this feature, you will need to register with Samsung.

  • Register your Galaxy phone with Samsung.
  • Use the Find My Mobile service to reset the password temporarily.
  • Unlock your phone using the temporary password you created.
  • Go to the phone settings.
  • Change the phone password/pattern.

3. Password Reset with Android Device Manager

To use the Android Device Manager, you will need to have the Android Device Manager on your PC and register your Samsung Galaxy phone to it. When using Android Device Manger to reset the password, all you need to do is activate the “Lock” feature. The “Lock” feature on Android Device Manger will allow you to get the Galaxy phone password to reset when you have forgotten the password on the Galaxy phone.

  • Login to the Android Device Manager app from your PC.
  • Look for your phone on the screen.
  • Enable the ‘Lock & Erase’ feature.
  • A list of steps to unlock your phone will appear. Follow the steps to unlock your phone.
  • Set a temporary password for your phone.
  • Unlock your phone using the temporary password.
  • Go to your phone settings.
  • Change your phone password.

If your smartphone runs Android Lollipop OS, you must have noticed a star icon on the notification bar of your phone which appears on the right-hand side just before the network icon(s). Many people do not know what this star icon means and as such we will explain what this star icon means, what it is used for and finally how to deactivate it.

If the star icon is in the notification bar of your Android phone, then it means that you have activated the “Interruptions Mode“. This is a feature on most Android phones that run latest operating system. When the star icon appears on the notification bar, it means that phone won’t ring even if you keep it in default/general mode.

You can activate this feature and deactivate it as well manually if you do not like the star icon displaying on the notification bar of your smartphone by going to the phone’s settings which I am going to show below. This new “Priority” setting is activated with “Interruptions Mode.”

How to deactivate star symbol on Android Lollipop

Certain people have complained about the Interruptions Mode features on their smartphones, for that reason I have decided to put this article together to show you how to deactivate or hide the the star icon.

The following are easy steps to deactivate or hide the Interruptions Mode on phones running Android Lollipop.

  • Turn on your phone.
  • From the Home screen, go to the phone menu.
  • Go to the “Settings

  • Go to the “Sound and Notifications” section.
  • Click on “Interruptions“.

  • You will see where to activate and deactivate the Interruptions mode on the screen that comes up. To deactivate, select always interrupt.

After you have followed the instructions above, the star icon will be hidden and the “Interrupt Mode” will be disabled on the phone.

Have you been in the situations where you find gorgeous moments appearing but you’re not quick enough to capture them on your smartphone? Bet you had many times already, be it a good laughter with friends, surprising look, tearful but joyful moment, etc. Those precious moments always come quickly and go away even quicker, before you can even press to capture them.

So what to do? Train yourself to take out your smartphone quick enough to take photos like a cowboy drawing his gun to win the duel? Hmm, that sounds possible but will make you look like a trained paparazzo kind of dude. Or to keep your camera on all the time to wait for that one moment? You know you are not making a living upon photographing.

Any solution to get you free from worrying about this? There is. Imagine this, just smile, and your moments are captured automatically!

With the Smile Detection feature on UMi Z, the smiley moments will never slip away easily, you don’t even need to press the shutter to capture them! What you only need to do is target your camera on those smiley faces!

UMi Z allows you to take photos with more touch-free actions.

The Gesture Detection on UMi Z!

When you turn on the Gesture Detection, just show the camera a Victory/Peace hand gesture, then it will start taking photos counting from 3 to 1. It works for both the rear and front cameras. No more worries of reaching out your fingers to take photo while stretching your hand out for a better wide angle to include all your friends for a good selfie. Already sounds like pain in the arse, right? And think about this, it also free you from upsetting your friend showing only half faces of them in the photo! Oh, please do feel release, the reverse Victory gesture won’t be detected for obvious reason 🙂

Next time remember, to take a photo, just smile!
