Samsung is said to be developing a series of new devices, but the two most prominent devices of which are Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S10, scheduled to be released respectively on 9/8 next and early next year. Besides, there are rumors that the company will soon launch a smartphone running its first Android Go called Galaxy J2 Core.

At present, Samsung has not revealed anything about the Galaxy J2 Core, but it looks like the phone will soon be released in the near future. After reaching a series of certifications from various agencies, recently, Galaxy J2 Core has suddenly appeared on Samsung’s support website in India.

As in the FCC and WiFi Alliance documentation, the Galaxy J2 Core is listed on the Samsung website under the model number SM-J260G / DS. Unfortunately, in addition to the code, the company’s support page does not disclose any further information regarding the device’s specifications, except that it will be a Google Go Android device. Like most Android Go smartphone models, the Galaxy J2 Core will run Android 8.1 Oreo with a user interface customized by Samsung.

Some early rumors suggested that the Galaxy J2 Core will have a Super AMOLED screen, size 5.0 inches and it is unclear what the resolution will be. Equipped with Exynos 7570 processor with 4 cores with a maximum clock frequency of 1.4GHz, combined with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Galaxy J2 Core will have an 8MP front camera, while its rear camera has a resolution of 5MP. It is powered by a 2,600mAh battery and is a low-cost device from Google’s Android Go program.
