Game of Thrones Season 8: dates and length of episodes

In less than a month we start with the final season of Game of Thrones and a few days ago we saw the first trailer. The 8th season will be the last and as with the 7th season, it has been decided for fewer episodes. This time it has even become only 6 episodes.

We already knew that the first episode of Game of Thrones will be released on April 14, and now HBO has also revealed the remaining dates. One also calls the length of the respective episodes, but not yet the titles:

  • Episode 1: April 14, 54 minutes
  • Episode 2: April 21, 58 minutes
  • Episode 3: April 28, 82 minutes
  • Episode 4: May 5, 78 minutes
  • Episode 5: May 12, 80 minutes
  • Episode 6: May 19, 80 minutes

Episode 3, the battle for Winterfell, will be the longest episode of the series, but the last three episodes are almost the same length as a feature film. If you want to watch and stream Game of Thrones, you need a subscription to Sky, because they have the exclusive rights again.
