It is always a challenge but this time it is an easy one. Latest reports have it that Google Fit monthly challenges is coming to help those who want to keep their New Year resolutions to do so.
Seriously, this is for those who have been planning and promising themselves that for the next 12 months starting January 2019 to something like December 2019. There is a need for getting fit and staying healthy – you know it and now you have something to help you achieve your goal.
Of course, Google is making it all easy with this new monthly exercise challenge inside its Google Fit suite of apps. The idea here is to challenge yourself to set new goals every 30 days. When you do, you are sure to pick up Move Minutes and Heart Points as you do so.
Probably, your first goal may be to boost Heart points to the recommended by experts, and the better you do, the more points you pick up along the way. Not to worry, for there will be constant reminders and motivational advice along the course of the month and Google is making it possible for some Instagram and Youtube celebs to come along for the ride as well. There is a hashtag for keeping things in one place and it is called #GetFitwithGooglehashtag.
Start the month with a 30-day challenge. However, you can start at anytime and maintain the 30-day challenge from where you took off. Get things going now with the Google Fit app. Take note that the app is available on the internet and also on Android. Maybe it will come to iOS later.
To succeed, you need to hit the 150 Heart Points per week to meet the American Heart Association (AHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO)’s recommendations shown to reduce risk of heart disease, improve sleep and increase overall mental well-being. This has been affirmed already by Google.
Google Fit has been receiving updates over some time now and it has also seen redesigned interface and new screen widgets which are believed to be worthwhile updates.
