Judging from the specs unit on paper, the Google Pixel 3 might outperform the iPhone X.
But if I were to choose, I will pick the iPhone X because of the higher screen to body ratio and the smooth rounded edges. It's also a matter of choosing between iOS and Android, so you should go for the OS you want.
