Google Pixel Watch: a patent rekindles interest

There has long been talk of a possible arrival of a series of smartwatches from the Mountain View giant. Although the company provides an operating system (Wear OS), Google Pixel Watch still remains a smoky and hardly concrete reality.

The launch seemed to be fixed along with that of Pixel 3, which then did not happen. It is just the news that the US company has filed a patent at the USPTO for a release mechanism of a strap that just reminds Google Pixel Watch to the mind.

As you can see in the images, we notice the circular dial that could represent something very similar to Google Pixel Watch. There is also to consider that patents do not seem to be transformed into finished and commercial products and that therefore it could once again be a "false trail".

For example, just this patent was requested in the second quarter of 2017 but only a few days ago it was actually accepted by the office in charge.

It would not be so strange to see a joint launch between Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL and a range of Google Pixel Watch during Google I / O 2019. The operating system will obviously be Wear OS and there will be space for a user experience very similar to the Pixel smartphone, but this time with a smartwatch.
