Haier Alpha A4 is one of the several smartphones that came out from the stable of the company in the month of August 2019. It is an entry level smartphone that is good for young people or people who just like compact smartphones. Android 8.1 Oreo is the operating system found in the smartphone and it is a 3G Android smartphone. In essence, we know that this isn’t a heavy duty phone, so the features may not be border-some if they are cut-back.

Design and Display of Haier Alpha A4 Lite

This phone is plastic built. I can also see that the phone does not have waterproof capacity. Colors of the phone are black and red. Also confirmed; there is no fingerprint scanner device. Dimensions are 72.1 x 149.3 x 9.5 mm and it weighs 189 grams.

Haier Alpha A4 Lite comes as IPS technology, capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch feature. This device is 5.5 inches large with 480 x 680 24 display resolution, which is also one of the lowest in the history of smartphones. Display colors are 16 million and there is no secondary display at all. Whereas, the pixel density is 195 ppi, display protection scratch resistant, and the screen to body ratio is 72.75 percent.

Camera Features

We find one camera to the rear and one to the front of Haier Alpha A4. At the rear we find 8 MP. Also, the front side of the device we find one selfie camera of 5 MP. The camera is fortified with face recognition, F2.0 aperture dual LED flash. Features also include auto focus, touch focus, HDR, panorama, continuous shooting, white balancing settings, and others from this department.

Hardware and Software

Haier Alpha A4 Lite is proven to be Android OS 8.1 Oreo  Go Edition smartphone on a modified user interface. In addition to that, there is MediaTek MT6580M 64 bit processor chipset, and a CPU frequency of Quad core is seen here which means that things are good at the performance. Moreover, the GPU is ARM Mali 400 MP2 416.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The storage capacity of Haier Alpha A4 Lite is a not impressive at 1GB of RAM that can’t be expanded. But on the internal storage there is 8GB which can be boosted externally with a microSD card. However, on the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, and accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

Haier Alpha A4 Lite mobile device is a 3G Android. Note that the smartphone works with the following technologies: GSM, HSPA, and UMTS. Included are two micro SIM cards slots to carry out connectivity operations. Other network connectivity components are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, USB 2.0, and headphone jack.

Battery Power

Powering the Haier Alpha A4 Lite is a removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh battery. This phone comes without wireless charging and there is no fast charging options. Good thing is that this may last for a long time because the phone isn’t designed for heavy duty.

The price of Haier Alpha A4 is approximately $70. However, you may not find it at that same price when you want to buy it. But for availability, this smartphone is available and has been released in the month of August 2019.
