How Can I Start With The Snapseed App?

As soon as you have the app downloaded and installed on your device, launch it and click anywhere on the gray screen to open the picture you intend to edit. You can even click on “Open” in the top-right corner to search for the image. Immediately you locate it, just tap the image and begin to edit.

How Can I Whiten My Teeth With The Snapseed App?

Imagine a picture of a dazzling young lady standing in a bus-stop with a yellow flower in her grip, and a slightly yellow teeth that might be caused because of weak lighting. That will not really be an issue if the flower did not make this flaw more obvious.

Unlike several other photo editing applications, Snapseed does not possess a “Teeth Whitening” feature that is built into it. But, with your creativity and calmness, you will arrive at the same result. Lets check out some ways to make this happen.

1. Get Rid Of All Color

This might be seen as the easy way out, but by turning your image to black-and-white, your not-so-white teeth will not be too obvious. Snapseed has pre-defined filters that can be used with one click. To make use of them, find the image in the app, ensure “Looks” is selected and move the slider till you can choose the black-and-white options.

The well known black-and-white filters that will help you hide the not-so-apt color of your teeth are “Structure.” and “Fine Art.” If you like any of the two, click on your choice and confirm. If you intend to keep the color in your image, click “X” in the bottom left, head back to the previous screen and continue with the next step.

2. Dodge And Burn Effect

Here, the Brush tool will be used, and it can be located in Tools on the main application page. Choose “Dodge & Burn brush” and make use of the up and down arrows for adjustment of the quality of the tool. Since the highest intensity which is 10 will make your teeth appear “too white,” it is best to be realistic and keep it at 5 or 6.

When you are done with this settings, do this:

  1. Zoom in on the teeth in the photo and make use of the blue rectangle in the bottom-left corner of your display to navigate the image.
  2. Begin to move slowly with your index finger over every one of the tooth, up and down, till it is as white as you desire it to be. Thread with caution so you do not overdo and mistakenly whiten your lip as well. But, if that mistake is real for you, and you actually whitened your lip, just set the brush identity to 0 and get rid of your mistakes, like you were using a pencil to draw.
  3. As soon as you are pleased with the alterations you have made, click on the checkmark on the bottom-right.
  4. Click “Export” to have the photo saved to your device’s Gallery or anywhere else you wish for it to be stored.

If you are calm and very attentive to the smallest details, your result will most likely be more than what you expect.

3. Negative Saturation

Your results are nice with negative saturation as well. The process is similar to what Dodge & Burn effect has to offer. Just head to Tools, click on Brushes and choose Saturation. Since positive saturation will make your teeth more yellow, negative saturation is the way to go. For the best result, the intensity should be -5.

What is left is same as before. Zoom in, calmly apply the brush to every tooth, and ensure your lip is not touched. If that is the case, simply set the intensity to 0 and then get rid of it, before adjusting once more to -5 and proceeding. With negative saturation, it is key to be extremely calm. If not, you can apply more than enough and your tooth and gum could end up with a worse color. You do not want that.
