If you have entered this article surely it is because you want to improve and increase the speed of WiFi network in your Android, either on your smartphone or tablet. A few weeks ago we published an article on how to improve the stability of the WiFi network both on your mobile devices and on the computer through the famous frequency channels. Today we will show you another trick to increase the speed of the Internet in a simple way and without the need to resort to third-party applications and tools.
Because we will use Android-specific settings, the guide described below is compatible with virtually all versions of the system, regardless of the brand of the device or its customization layer.
Increase Internet speed in Android thanks to DNS 184.108.40.206
By now it is all written about how to increase the speed of WiFi on the Internet. In this same web, we have different guides aimed at improving both the speed and stability of the network through various methods. However, this time we bring you another trick in which we will use the well-known DNS to increase the overall speed of the Internet, which help to translate web content and IP addresses to speed up the loading of them.
To do this, we will go to the Android Settings application and Wireless or WiFi (depending on the system version). Once inside, we will see a list with all available WiFi networks, however, the one that interests us is the one that has a connection with our device, that is, the network to which we are connected. Then, we will press the finger on the network in question and we will give Modify network. Later we will see several settings, but the one that we have to modify in our case is the IP Settings. After clicking on it, we will select the option of static IP, and then we will see two sections with the name of DNS 1 and DNS 2. Now we just have to change the value indicated by 220.127.116.11. Once entered we will save it and exit the Android Settings.
And that’s it, as simple as that. From now on, web pages should load more quickly due to the better translation of the DNS used regarding the loading of web pages and their content. This same trick can also be applied to other devices such as computers, tablets and even phones of other operating systems.
