Photos are a very nice thing to have, it helps us remember and treasure those precious moments in life. The Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL cameras take very nice pictures with their 12MP and 12.2MP rear camera respectively. These cameras have an aperture of F/1.8 with dual LED, OIS, and Dual phase detention.
The front-facing camera is also packing on both devices to give the very best when it comes to photography. But what is the point of taking a picture if we can't back it up? You never know what might happen to that phone of yours. What if your phone gets stolen? Although there is a way to find your lost Google Pixel phones but what if your memory card or phone memory gets corrupted? Or worse, gets infected with a virus? What happens to your photos?
This is why it is best to back up your files, especially your photos to the cloud or your PC. If you are using Google Photos as your gallery app then you can set it to automatically back any new picture you take. So when you get a new phone and log in to your Google account with Google photos installed, it brings back all your pictures.
This is okay but if you are like me that takes a lot of pictures then backing it up to the cloud might be taking a huge chunk out of your data for the uploads. This brings me to the second option. Backing it up on my PC. So in the event that your phone gets lost, stolen or corrupted, you would still have all your photos on your PC. Also, when your PC crashes, you would also have the photos on your phone. The chances of the two happening at the same are pretty slim.
