HTC released a new device called the HTC Bolt, with a campaign alongside it, involving multiple times Olympic winner and arguably the world’s fastest man alive – Usain Bolt. This is most likely because of the Snapdragon X10 LTE modem supports 3X20 carrier aggregation. It also isn’t the world’s 1 USB Type-C dual adaptive earphones that tailor sound to your ears’ unique structure for a truly illuminating audio experience.


The HTC Bolt has a metal unibody that gives it a sophisticated and premium look, with beautiful antenna lines at the back. The HTC Bolt has an IP57 rating and is water, splash and dust resistant.

The HTC Bolt runs on the latest Android O.S, Nougat 7.0, it has a 5.5-inch, with 1440 x 2560 resolution and pixels at (534 PPI), Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 5. The HTC  Bolt also has split-screen support; you can surf the internet, chat with friends, watch movies and multitask at the same time with your screen divided into two.


The HTC Bolt comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory; it also supports external memory card with up to 256GB. The HTC Bolt runs on Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, Octa-core (4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A57) CPU, and GPU Adreno 430.

The HTC Bolt comes with a 16 MP front camera, with phase detection autofocus(PDAF) Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, Auto-HDR, panorama and dual-LED flash, and a front camera of 8MP. The HTC Bolt features an integrated screen flash for night shots on the go.

The HTC Bolt comes with a non-removable 3200mah battery with fast charge, and a single nano sim slot. The HTC Bolt also has a fingerprint scanner, at the front of the screen, on the lower bezel, and unlocks your phone with 0.2 seconds; the fingerprint scanner can also be used to unlock protected apps. The HTC Bolt also has incredible audio output with its HTC Boom Sound Adaptive Audio feature.

The HTC Bolt is water and dust resistant, Water resistant up to 1 meter and 30 minutes and a USB Type-C USB port. The HTC Bolt also comes with a dual port car charger.

The phone is expected to launch at $220.
