It’s not up to 3 months after the launch of its flagship devices, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus at the MWC 2017 and Huawei is dropping another device, a mid-ranger this time, the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus.
In this article, the plan is to get to the what the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus is made of. If it is the device that would crown Huawei as consistency king or it’s just another random device from Huawei.
DESIGN & DISPLAY
To start with, the silvery colour of the Enjoy 7 Plus is stunning. Viewing the rear at first glance reveals a glossy back cover with the conspicuous rear camera at the top and on the right flank is the LED flash. The fingerprint scanner is also neatly aligned to the middle and is located just at the bottom of the rear camera.
The USB charging ports is at the bottom and ia flanked by the speaker grills at both sides. The device is quite plain and simple on the front. The selfie cam, proximity sensor and the secondary call speaker are what the front houses.
The display is a 5.5-inch HD screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
PROCESSOR & OS
One of the major highlight of the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus is that it launched with Android Nougat v7.0 out of the box. This is something we rarely see on mid-range devices. Also, the device will be running on Huawei based EMUI 5.1.
With the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, fluidity and sleekness of processes – be it gaming, movies, internet, reading a book or taking pictures – is assured. This is so because the beautiful Enjoy 7 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset and dual CPU (Octa-Core 4x 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 + 4x 1.1GHz ARM Cortex-A53). You also don’t have to worry about the phone heating up or lagging during usage as the 3 GB of RAM is capable of handling multitasking intelligently. There’s also enough room to store your files, app data and other documents with the available 32GB of in-built storage which can be expandable via Micro SDcard.
Although Huawei has earned themselves the name “King of Dual rear camera” as a result of the plethora of Dual Camera devices in their archive, the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus however only has a single 12MP rear camera lens. Probably the company is taking a break from dual camera – Maybe, maybe not.
Nevertheless, dual lens or no dual lens, the 12MP camera with the support of the LED flash can take amazing and well lighted and well focused pictures.
On selfie duties is an 8MP front facing camera. Now you can be sure to take amazing selfies for the Gram, your Snap, Facebook and so on. Even with no filter, trust you will have good and clear selfies.
The power house of the Enjoy 7 Plus is a massive non-removable 4,000mAh Lithium polymer battery which should last up to 24hours on low or medium usage. Heavyusers can also get about 12-16 hours usage time.
