Huawei seems not to have thrown in the towel market at all. Despite the decline of Android tablets in recent years, the Chinese company has continued to release an important number of models. Huawei MediaPad C5could be next, and according to a German site named MobielKopen will be low-end and focused on price. The leak reveals that it could come in 2 variants: one with only Wi-Fi and one even with 4G LTE connectivity.
His presentation is scheduled for Berlin’s IFA 2018. Huawei MediaPad C5 would have an 8-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Its processor would be Qualcomm Snapdragon 435, low-end but still sufficient for basic uses, while the RAM would be 3 or 4 GB. The tablet would also be coming with an internal memory of 64 or 128 GB.
The memories are a bit ‘unbalanced with respect to the processor, but it is still better than nothing, especially if we think that at similar prices such large memories are a rarity. The onboard operating system would be Android 7.0 Nougat, but an update to Android 8.0 Oreo would have been planned before release. Huawei MediaPad C5 could replace the M5 Lite and become one of the best choices in the field of cheap tablets.
