New smartphone brands come out every day so its no problem if you have never heard of a smartphone company called iNew. iNew has freshly unveiled a new series of smartphones under the alias “Pandora”, and the first they will be pushing out is the iNew Pandora R9, a selfie-centric smartphone with front-facing LED flash.

Although, this is the not the first in the history of smartphones, as we have seen a lot of devices sporting a large front-facing camera lens with LED flash.

First off, the battle for the mid-ranged mobile user has got very heated, and absolutely no one is here to play. To prove their point, the iNew Pandora R9 uses a 1920 x 1080p (420 PPI) 5 inch Full HD display. The phone has a very simple design and looks like an iPhone and Samsung Galaxy hybrid; it features a complete metal build and a subtle home button on the front.

A MediaTek MT6737T processor which is a quad-core chip that clocks in at 1.5 GHz is in charge of the processing prowess of the Pandora R9. Also, a 3GB of RAM backs it up.

The device comes with a 16GB of onboard storage with the option for micro-SD card expansion via its SD card slot.

The iNew Pandora R9 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an incredible f/1.9 lens. So you can rest assured that your pictures will be blur free, noise free and crystal clear. A similar 13- megapixel front shooter dubbed ‘”MOONLIGHT” accompanied by a LED flash sits in front for selfies and video calls.

The device is powered by a massive 3200mAh battery which is quite large considering the size of the smartphone, but this, in general, is a good thing as battery life plays a crucial part in smartphone purchases. Paired with an excellent battery optimisation system and the small screen size you should be able to get through two days of normal use easily. The battery can be fast charged at 2A.

The device sails the Android ship and rocks the Android 6.0.1 marshmallow.

The device comes unlocked and will be compatible with worldwide Edge, FDD-LTE, HSPDA, HSPDA+, HSUPDA and TDD-LTE network bands.

The device has an audio feature enabled by a particular NXP music chipset that boosts sound quality by 100%.

The home button on the front of the iNew Pandora R9 has a fast fingerprint scanner with Ceramic Technology (a ceramic composite coating with an FPC OneTouch fingerprint scanner).

The iNew Pandora R3 will be released next month; we are still unaware of the actual retail price, but we assume it will be pretty affordable.
