I can remember when the Innjoo Halo was first sold in the 2015 Jumia Black Friday Event for around N7,000; I was amazed that a smartphone with such specs could be sold at such a ridiculously low price. Fast forward to the present time, we have seven different smartphones in the Innjoo Halo series, and a new one, the Innjoo Halo 3 has just been added.
These days, everytime an Innjoo smartphone is released, it comes with a never-before-seen feature in previous Innjoo smartphones. For example, the Innjoo Pro is the company’s first phone with 6GB RAM, the Innjoo 4 which will be released soon would be the first to use a MediaTek X processor, and now the Innjoo Halo 3 is Innjoo’s first smartphone to run on the latest version of the Android Operating System, Android 7.0 Nougat.
Innjoo Halo 3 Specifications, Review and Highlights
Display & Design
The Innjoo Halo 3 possesses a 5.0-inch IPS display which is covered with 2.5D glass and has a resolution of 1280 * 720 (HD) and a pixel density of 293PPI. The phone has a metal unibody design and comes in Black and Gold colours.
Storage & Processor
The Halo 3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 processor with four processing cores. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
A 13MP camera with 5P lens and a f/2.2 aperture is present at the rear of the smartphone with a dual-tone LED flash to take care of your photography needs, and selfie lovers are not forgotten, as a 5MP camera is present at the front.
Battery & Connectivity
The Innjoo Halo 3 packs a 2800mAh battery which affords you 27 hours of talktime and can last 288 hours on standby. As you would expect (since about three existing members of the series also have it), the Halo 3 supports 4G LTE networks via its dual SIM slot.
Software & Hardware
in the hardware section, the Innjoo Halo 3 also comes with a first; it sports a fingerprint sensor, becoming the first smartphone in the Innjoo Halo series to come with the biometric scanner.
In terms of software, the Halo 3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
