The InnJoo Smartron was announced by the company last month and popped up in a physical store today. The Smartron is based on another OEM named Smartron, just as the InnJoo Maze was based on a smartphone manufacturer, Maze.
The device houses an older Snapdragon 810 with an octa-core processor. It also sports an AMOLED screen with Apical Assertive Technology and Oleophobic (lipophobic) Coating. There’s 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. Lets find out more.
In this article we talk about:
The Smartron was crafted with a Polycarbonate material and Metal finishing. It looks completely different from what we typically see from InnJoo, however, it looks like what Smartron would actually create.
It has dual antenna lines, with the rear camera and LED flash sitting pretty on top, while the InnJoo logo takes centre stage. The device is very slim and sleek to the sides, measuring just 7mm in thickness and weighing 149g overall. It was seen in Gray.
The screen has a combination of AMOLED with IPS technology, this lets you see clear details and vibrant colours. The screen also dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio and stretches all the way to the sides.
The 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution and 401 pixel per inch density. The screen has Apical Assertive Technology, Oleophobic (lipophobic) Coating and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Hardware and Software
It’s powered by an older Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 v2.1 from Qualcomm which was built on a 20nm process node. It comes with 8-cores of processor and clocks at 2.0GHz max. While the Adreno 430 graphics processor clocks at 650MHz.
You can easily multitask through heavy apps with 4GB of RAM on this device, it has a memory speed of 1.6GHz. While the storage space stands at 64GB with an option to expand further up to 128GB using a memory card. The Smartron runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.
The 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 6P Lens lets you capture stunning photographs even in low light environments. The camera comes with a dual-LED flash and other internal features. While the 5MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture as well.
Powering the InnJoo Smartron is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.8 hours.
