Install Google Play Store automatically from a package

Getting Google services installed on a Chinese smartphone is simpler through a package that installs everything you need. It depends a little on the brand of the device but in general, it is very similar in all. For this example, we are going to install Google Play on a Xiaomi with a Chinese version of MIUI.

To start we will look for the application that will help us install the services we need. All Chinese smartphones usually have a manufacturer's application store: enter the application and search for "google installer". If you can not find anything, just search for "google" and use Baidu's search engine, the blue symbol of an animal's footprint.

There are several applications depending on the manufacturer. All are usually in Chinese and its icon is similar to the Google Play logo. If you're not sure, you just have to install it and try it.

Find the application that installs Google services.

Once the application is installed, open it. Click on what appears to be the beginning of the application. In my case, it is this blue circle with Chinese symbols in the center that I suppose says something like "install".

The process begins.

You may be asked for permissions to carry out the installations and several APKs will be downloaded to be installed, such as the calendar, contact manager, Google services and Google Play.

Grant permits to the facilities.

Once installed all you just have to register with your Gmail account to access Google Play

A few people have complained that their firmware does not let them run Google apps on their device. You can get Google apps including the Google Play Store app using Google Installer for Chinese cell phones. In case you experience any difficulties while following the steps or you get stuck, be sure to pot a comment. Thank you.

I bought the “weeks old” Huawei Honor Tab 5 tablet from giztop. What a mistake! It came in Chinese and no Google play. Well I took care of problem one and reformatted it to all English, but no matter what I do, I cannot get Google play to install. It has Huawei Magic 2.0 and the newest Android 9.0. Can anyone please tell me how to get this thing working? Is Android 9 the problem? Magic 2.? I’m really stuck here. Thanks

Hi! Method 2 worked well for me! I first had to install GMS Installer and then install the Google Play .apk that you had linked. The one issue with the Google Play Account that I had was “couldn’t connect with servers”, but I solved it by connecting to the wi-fi of the home I was in and then reinstalling it. Everything works like a charm!

This has nothing to do with patriotism. They are scared to death the people will learn something outside of their propaganda machine using Google and other media to the outside world.
