Intex Aqua Lions T1 Lite was released a day before Valentine by Intex. The OEM are known for making budget smartphones that gives value for money. The device is also the much affordable version of the Intex Aqua Lions T1, coming with low class specs. Perfect for those on a low budget, meet the Intex Aqua Lions T1 Lite.
The portable device has a full plastic back, but you could hardly tell from the photos. The back was designed to make it a pleasure to hold and flaunt, its portability does help in terms of grip. It has no rear fingerprint scanner, with only the rear camera and LED flash in sight.
Oh the Intex logo is also pretty much visible underneath the LED flash completing a vertical train. At the bottom right corner, two speaker grille are present for loud music as well. Turning to the sides, its quite bulky measuring 10.2 mm, which is not surprising for most portable budget phones. Its available in Champagne, Steel Grey and Royal Black colors and weighs 159g overall.
There are bezels on the screen, but that’s normal for a ver affordable device such as this. With three navigation buttons sitting at the bottom bezel, while the top bezel houses the selfie camera, ambient light sensor and speaker grid as well.
Focusing on the portable screen, the 5-inch FWVGA HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is pretty solid. Boasting of 854 x 480 pixels in resolution and 196 pixel per inch density. The multi-touch screen has a 2-oPint touch support, and protected by a 2.5D curved glass screen. Intex got to a 65.25% screen to body ratio with the Aqua Lions T1 Lite.
Hardware and Software
The system on chip is the Spreadtrum SC9832A with 32-bit CPU architecture. The CPU frequency is a Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. In terms of graphics, the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor is in control, reaching a speed of 512MHz.
It has a 28nm process technology, 1GB RAM for extremely light multitasking and 8GB internal storage space. The storage space is upgradeable up to 64GB using a memory card. The Aqua Lions T1 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
The rear camera is a 5MP shooter with 3P lens and CMOS sensor capturing 2K resolution images. The LED flash underneath the camera helps take photographs with 2981 x 1677 pixels in dimension even in low lights environment. Record 720 pixel videos at 30 frames per second, while the selfie camera is a 2MP shooter with no LED flash.
Powering the Intex Aqua Lions T1 Lite is a 2200mAh removable Li-Ion battery. With no fast charging technology, it might take more than 2 hours tp fully charge up the device from 0% to 100%.
