Intex is an OEM that has its base in India, and as such concentrates on producing feature phones, smartphones (such as Intex Aqua Note 5.5, Intex Aqua Lions 3, etc.) and TVs as well. The Indian OEM has decided to launch into another sector of the gadgets industry by manufacturing a tablet that fits well into the budget category. The tablet is so named Intex I-Buddy IN-7DD01. It’s also referred to as the Intex I-Buddy 3G tablet. I-Buddy IN-7DD01’s price is mainly its strong attractive feature. Why not relax as we go through the budget tablet known as Intex I-Buddy IN-7DD01.

Intex I-Buddy 3G has a smooth surface at its rear. The back of the tablet houses the rear camera, a LED flash and the Intex logo. The Intex logo appears right under the rear camera with a partition in between the logo and the camera. The right side of the tablet houses the volume keys and the power button. The frontal of the tablet houses the front camera. The tablet has the dimension 188 mm x 108 mm x 10 mm (L x W x H). Its weight of 272g gives it a rather heavy nature. The tablet comes in only Black colour.
The tablet has a small screen size of 7.0 inches. However, considering its budget nature, one can give the screen size a nod. Its screen display has a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen resolution ensures texts and icons have crisp clarity.
The camera unit of this tablet was poorly developed. The rear camera has a very low 2.0 megapixels for capturing images. To brighten up images, the tablet has a LED flash accompaniment at its rear. The front camera has an even lower camera quality as it showcases a 0.3-megapixel camera that’s void of LED flash. It’s clear that the tablet’s front camera will produce low-quality selfies.
PROCESSOR AND OS
The tablet uses a quad core processor for powering its operations. The quad core processor uses a MediaTek MT8321 chipset. This processor runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. The operating system of the tablet is a not so recent Android OS – Android 5.1 Lollipop.
STORAGE AND RAM
The tablet’s internal memory has a small capacity of 8GB. The 8GB capacity can be expanded with the use of a micro SD card to 32GB. For the multitasking and smooth running of apps on the tablet, the tablet is incorporated with a 1GB RAM. The RAM of this tablet makes the tablet liable to lag if loaded with too many apps. Light smartphone users will find this RAM size comfy to use.
The tablet’s battery is a non-removable Li-Ion 2,800mAh battery. I seriously have to point it out that the battery capacity is really small.
Intex I-Buddy 3G tablet Price
Intex I-Buddy 3G tablet sells for US $80. In India, the tablet’s price starts from Rs. 4,299.
