iTel A22 and the iTel A22 Pro are two affordable smartphones that were launched by iTel with an aim of reaching those with a low budget in need of a smartphone. These phones will be suitable for low-end users because their specifications and other features are not too mighty.
The exciting good news here is that the phones are powered by a Snapdragon processor which looks like the first phone from iTel with such hardware. In addition to this is the trending Android 8.1 Go Edition which has been a savior for phones with low RAM. So the iTel A22 will be offering solid performance for low users and the Pro version will be perfect to handle low demanding task smoothly. In this article, we will be comparing the iTel A22 with the iTel A22 Pro side by side.
iTel A22 VS iTel A22 Pro: Design.
The iTel A22 and the iTel A22 Pro are two phones with the same design and different specifications. Both phones are built with plastic that sports Antenna lines. The dual Antenna can be found on both top and bottom of the panels. The rear camera now has a new position. It’s position horizontally with an LED flash. The side measures 9.35mm in thickness and they both lack the fingerprint scanner.
iTel A22 VS iTel A22 Pro: Display.
Both phones sport a standard 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, this boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and 215 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. The front though has some bezels both on the top and bottom, but manage to reach up to 60.81% screen-to-body ratio. Both phones are available in Black, Gray, and Gold colors.
iTel A22 VS iTel A22 Pro: Camera.
On the camera department, Both Phones has the same rear camera of 5MP with an LED flash while the front camera comes in 2MP which is not that bad. You should not expect much from these cameras because their video resolution will not be clear enough and the selfie camera coming from the 2MP is not worth social media attention. Their front facing camera is also paired with LED flash as well while the main camera support Autofocus and other settings.
iTel A22 VS iTel A22 Pro: Performance.
One thing I admire a lot on these phones is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 they run on. Though these are not the best processor out there, at least it will help in lifting up heavy apps or multitasking.
The Chipset will be receiving 1.3GHz quad-core support and Adreno 304 graphics card to controls graphics. The old chipset here was built on a 28nm process technology for power efficiency. On the storage, the iTel A22 has 1GB of RAM with 8GB of inbuilt storage, while the iTel A22 Pro storage has been upgraded.
You will be getting 2GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16GB which you can also expand with micro SD card. Both phones are powered by a removable battery capacity of 2400mAh with Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition on the iTel A22, while the A22 Pro has the standard Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. They lack fast charging technology but support 4G LTE network for fast browsing and downloads.
