The iTel A44 was launched in March 2018. The smartphone sport a simple and unique design with a fingerprint scanner and other good features. It’s still in the budget category which makes it one of the most affordable devices in India with a fingerprint scanner. As for the iTel A45, it was launched in August as the successor of the iTel A44 with some upgraded features though not mouthwatering but still considerable. The phone sports a dual camera which is one of the notable features.

iTel A44 VS iTel A45: Design.

Though there is nothing much to differentiate between this phone. They still sport the plastic material on the back and a removable panel. The panel of the iTel A44 houses the camera and the LED flash vertically on the center, while the iTel A45 comes with a dual camera that is placed horizontally on the top left corner.

This arrangement is cool though, and anyone can use it to identify both phones. Both phones seem to be rocking the same body dimensions and weight. The iTel A44 is available in Champagne, Rose Gold, and Red colors, while the iTel A45 is shipped in Midnight Black, Anthracite Grey, and Rose Gold colors.

Both the iTel A44 and the iTel A45 features the same screen size of 5.45 inches with 720×1440 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio on the iTel A45. As for the iTel A44, it has a screen resolution of 480×960 pixels which is not that bad but it will not deliver detail content than it’s predecessor.

The iTel A44 has a single camera of 5MP on the back for photography and this camera comes with an LED flash and other features. On the iTel A45, you will get a combination of 5-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel on the back with LED flash as well. They have the same front-facing camera of 5MP which is also paired with LED flash for night shots.

The iTel A45 now features the trending Android Go Edition which will ensure smooth operation when gaming or running daily phone activities. You can’t compare this Android 8.1 Go Edition to the Android 7.1 Nougat on the iTel A44 smartphone. Even when both feature the same MediaTek processor. The iTel A45 will outperform it’s rival with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. They have the same inbuilt memory of 8GB which is expandable.

On the battery, the iTel A44 has a removable battery capacity of 2400mAh and the iTel A45, a removable battery capacity of 2700mAh. The battery has also been upgraded too but still, lack fast charging technology. Surprisingly, both phones support 4G LTE bands in India and other countries.
