Virtual reality is constantly evolving and more companies decide to release their VR gadgets. At this year's CES, Lenovo announced its own headset, to play in the virtual world, while yesterday it was presented officially. Ladies and gentlemen, here is the Lenovo Mirage Solo!
WHAT DISTINGUISHES IT?
This is the first headset based on the Google Daydream platform. What is this platform? Initially, it was intended for Android smartphones, the minimum version 7.1. As you can see, it was decided to implement it in an autonomous set, without using a telephone. It allows you to use high-quality virtual reality and has a list of lots of games and applications supporting VR. In a nutshell, it's their VR ecosystem.
Let's go to the goggles themselves. Included in the set is a wireless remote control, which is a requirement imposed by Google. The heart of the device is last year's top, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with Adreno 540 graphics, which is supported by 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB of fast memory in UFS technology for applications, which we can extend by up to 256 GB using a microSD memory card. The device has a 3.5 mm Jack audio output and is equipped with a 4000 mAh cell. The display is a 5.5 inch LCD sensor with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 with a refresh rate of 75 Hz, while the field of view is up to 110°.
The price of Lenovo Mirage Solo is to start from $ 399, so it is not the cheapest, but it is a very good hardware set. However, it is not known when and if the device will appear in Polish distribution.
IT IS NOT THE END!
Along with the headset itself, in addition to it was presented - Lenovo Mirage Camera. The device allows you to take photos and record VR video at 180°. I must admit that they are quite similar to the new 180 from Yi. The price of the device is $ 299.
I must admit that they are one of the strongest VR goggles on the market. What do you think about this Lenovo Mirage Solo?
