LG started the launch of its L series smartphones in August 2014, which is aimed at emerging markets. LG has now launched another of its L series called LG Bello II (LG Bello 2) – a successor of the mid-range LG L Bello smartphone that was released in 2014.
The newly launched LG Bello 2 is an affordable smartphone targeted at the entry-level segment in markets. This device offers some high-end features commonly found in higher-end smartphones. These features include: Knock Code, Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash.
The LG Bello 2’s specs sheet is a basic repeat of the old L Bello. It features same touchscreen with an FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
The big 5-inch display is great for watching movies and web browsing, though the pixel density is not that impressive.
The 8-megapixels rear camera of the LG L Bello is retained in the Bello 2, but adds full HD video recording, which is a major boost. The front camera also received a boost from 0.3MP found on some of LG previous smartphones to 5-megapixels.
As stated above, LG also includes Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash features, carried over from its G Series to make the process of taking excellent selfies and wefies completely seamless.
Gesture Shot enables users to take selfies or wefies without pressing any buttons ― perfect for selfie sticks ― by simply opening and closing a hand in front of the camera. While the Selfie Flash feature turns the phone’s display into a soft flash for portraits that are more subtle and refined.
Processor & Memory
LG Bello 2 comes with a quad-core processor that runs at speeds of up to 1.3 GHz. Like the LG L Bello, the LG Bello 2 has 1GB of RAM for multitasking alongside 8GB of internal storage. You can add more storage with a microSD card slot that allows an additional 32GB of storage.
LG Bello 2 is preloaded with an improved Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS version right out of the box, and features the latest LG UX UI for great user experience.
