The new smartwatch is a hybrid, which means it will run on Android Wear OS and will also have a mechanical clock setup. LG Watch W7 was leaked at the beginning of the year as LG Watch Timepiece, and the information received already revealed many of the technical specifications of this wearable device. After many months, LG is finally launching the product, but with the name LG Watch W7.

The well-known “leaker” Evan Blass, an extremely reliable source, has unveiled in a tweet that LG Watch W7 will be made official along with the V40 ThinQ. The smartphone launch event is set for October 3rd.

According to the article published by the Android site Headlines, LG seems to please lovers of analog and digital smartwatch, both with a mechanical clock configuration and with the functions of the Android Wear operating system integrated inside. The report states that the analog setting ensures long battery life and very accurate monitoring.

LG Watch W7 is made of stainless steel and will also have the IP68 certification, which attests the high resistance to water splashes. The wearable will be equipped with a 1.2-inch LCD panel (360 × 360 pixels) with a density of 300ppi pixels. The watch will integrate 4 GB of eMMC memory, 768 MB of LPDDR3 RAM and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor.

Connectivity options include 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C 2.0 port. The new device should arrive in the color options New Aurora Black and Cloud Silver. Finally, the report states that the watch should have a price below 250 dollars (so around 200 euros).
