Although this write up is strictly to showcase the Sony phones that were released during the months of January to June 2019, I expect the company to release at least three more smartphones if it is to be at speed with its performance in 2018. Sony manufactured eight smartphones last year but until now, the company has only released five mobile devices. We briefly take a look at them below. These phones are really worth a look although it is evident that the company lacks much power in the batteries it provides for users. As such, none of the phones below has up to 4000 mAh battery at the specs. Please check out an extended list of Sony Phones HERE.
In this article we talk about:
Sony Xperia Ace
With the Ace, we are beginning the list with the latest product from Sony. The Sony Xperia Ace was released in May 2019 in two variants. You notice the variants mainly through memory space and price. There is the 4GB/64GB which sells for over $400 and the 3GB/32GB which sells for more than $200. To See about the real price of this phone, click here. The Ace comes with 5 inches display and an impressive display resolution. The camera is 13 MP for the rear and the selfie camera is 8 MP. It boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon at the performance. It is an Android Pie phone.
Sony Xperia L3
This Xperia version came around in the month of February 2019 as a notch-free 4G Android phone. However, it didn’t come as an Android Pie mobile device. It is 5.7 inches at the screen display and the camera shows one at the rear that came as 13 MP and the other at the front as 8 MP camera. The performance came with MediaTek chipset and the battery is 3300 mAh. Check out more about the phone, such as price HERE.
Sony Xperia 10 Plus
This one also came about in the month of February 2019. It has Android Pie at the helms of affair. That works with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, making it a super-fast smartphone. However, the battery still is below 4000 mAh though it is vied by some as a little bit too expensive for what it claims to be. Sony Xperia 1
This one berths in the month of March 2019 with a modern screen for gaming. The 4G Android smartphone came with 6.5 inches display. It came with a good display protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. But looking further, we could see that it comes in two variants of 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB at differing price. The camera features are the same as those you see above. The battery found inside the smartphone is 3330 mAh. Check out the full features of Xperia 1 HERE.
Sony Xperia 10
This one too berths in the month of March 2019 with features laid back when you compare it to the 10 Plus. So then, this smartphone comes with 6 inches display screen size, with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as the main display protection, good display resolution, Android Pie, dual camera of 13 MP at the rear and 8 MP for selfies. The battery is even lower at 2870 mAh which tells us that this is the phone from Sony that has the weakest battery yet in 2019. Find out more about the phone HERE.
Did you notice? In some aspects, such as number of SIMs or camera features, these phones come unified. The camera specs are also alike and I’m wondering: what does Sony want to push in new phone technologies this year? However, one thing I know is that even if the cameras on these phones have low megapixels, they may even perform more than those phones with mega megapixels at the camera levels.
