Meizu has announced its upcoming flagship, the Meizu 16s, and the phone is expected to be launched in China on 23rd April. Ahead of the official launch, Meizu has made reservations available for the device.
Pre-orders are now available for the Meizu 16s, and it will close on 22nd April by 23:59. This could possibly mean that the phone will hit the market on 23rd April. According to the company's executive, mass production of the device had begun in March.
While there hasn't been any official release of the specs and the features of the phone by the company, there have been several leaks which revealed all the major features and specifications of the Meizu 16s.
According to the leaks, the Meizu 16s will come with 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2232 x 1080 pixels. However, there is expected to be any notch on top of the display.
The Meizu 16s will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor supported with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone should have more than one memory variants.
On the rear of the phone, there are three cameras including a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. There is also a 20MP selfie shooter on the front of the phone.
Antutu recently released a benchmark score; the Meizu 16s posted a score of 37,4190. This makes it one of the highest performing Android smartphones.
The phone is expected to cost about $500 and it comes in three color variants: White, Black, and Gradient Blue.
