At the Mobile World Congress 2019 which held this year in February, Taiwanese tech giant, Xiaomi announced the Mi LED Smart Bulb. A few days ago, Xiaomi India announced the Mi LED Smart Bulb in India. The company also went on to unveil the price of its latest IoT product as the crowdfunding took off at 12 noon IST via Mi.com.
The new Mi LED Smart Bulb can display up to 16 million colors and it has a life span of about eleven years. The smart bulb supports the Mi Home app which can be used to control it. It also comes with some added features which allow you to control it using voice assistants such as. Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The company says that the Mi LED Smart Bulb does not need a bridge or hub for wireless connectivity. Thanks to the Mi Home app, users will be able to get full control of the Mi LED Smart Bulb. Via the app, users get features like options to turn on and off, set schedules, brightness, and color changes. Mi LED Smart Bulb supports 16 million colors and can last for straight 11 years.
Xiaomi has announced the price of the Mi LED Smart Bulb to start from Rs. 999 in India up to the first 4,000 orders, with 10 days to go. Just as is written on the listing page, after the first 4,000 units are ordered, the price of the smart bulb will go up to Rs. 1,299. Also, note that Xiaomi will begin the shipments of the first orders from the 20th of next month.
Xiaomi has also launched its new set of smartphones, the new Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 smartphones in India alongside the Mi LED Smart Bulb.
