The newly-launched Micromax Vdeo 1 & Vdeo 2 are the real definitions of budget smartphones – they demonstrate how low-end a modern smartphone can get.

The Micromax Vdeo 1 comes with a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 * 480) resolution while the Vdeo 2 has a bigger 4.5-inch display with FWVGA (854 * 480) pixel resolution. Both smartphones have metal back covers and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

They are powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processors, have 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable (up to 32GB) internal memory capacities, 5MP rear cameras with LED flash and 2MP front cameras. The Micromax Vdeo 1 & Vdeo 2 have Dual SIM slots with a Jio SIM card and support 4G with VoLTE.

The Vdeo1 packs a 1600mAh battery while the Vdeo 2 has a slightly higher 1800mAh battery capacity. Both Micromax smartphones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. They are the first smartphones in the Micromax Vdeo series.
