Last week, HMD Global released the Nokia 2.2 in India and it comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999. Now, the company has started rolling out a new update to users of the Nokia 2.2 in India. The new update is similar to the one the company rolled out to the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2.
The update which was released earlier today is about 288.8 MB in size and it changes the build number of the phone to V1.390. New features listed in the changelog include UI enhancements, improved system stability and June 2019 batch of Android security updates.
Also, there is a new feature in the update which is known as White Balance option. This feature is similar to the one found on the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2. To check out this feature, simply go to the Settings app. Next, tap on Display and then tap on the White Balance option. With this feature, you can adjust the warmth of the display from cool to warn depending upon the colour saturation of your choosing. In case you get confused, you get the option to reset to the previously set level.
If you want to check for the manual update, simply go to the Settings app. Next up, tap on Software Update and then Download and Install. Before you proceed to download the update, make sure your phone has at least 50% charge left and also make sure you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
To recall, the Nokia 2.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ screen. It has a display resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device comes with a 2 GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which is supported with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
On the rear, the phone features a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP lens on the front for selfies. The phone packs Android 9 Pie out of the box with Android One branding. It also packs a 3000 mAh battery.
