OnePlus has released a new update for its latest flagship, the OnePlus 7 Pro. The update can now be downloaded by OnePlus 7 Pro users as well as all the amazing features it packs. The new updat comes with optimizations for side-slip gestures, a new sliding back gesture and much more in addition to system stability and fix for recently reported issues which it also packs. According to the changelog, the new update comes with:
- Optimized side-slip gesture (Settings > Buttons and Gestures > Virtual Buttons and Full-Screen Gestures > Return on both sides)
- Improve stability
- Fix known issues
However, it seems that OnePlus has only released this update to its users in China because it is designated “Hydrogen_13” and the Hydrogen system is for the Chinese market. However, if OnePlus has already released an update for its Chinese model, other units from around the world should get their own version of the update in no time!
Although this new update isn’t a major update, its size is about 2.7 GB. If you can remember, the OnePlus 7 Pro Oxygen OS is also currently receiving a stable update. The update comes with improvements like improved system stability, optimized screen sensitivity and new features like the super wide-angle in the Camera app as well as night scene modes. However, looking at the changelog, this new update is basically for improvements to the phone’s camera app.
If you own a unit of the global version of the OnePlus 7 Pro, you can go ahead and search for the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update. The update will defintely improve the camera functionality of your device. However, if you own the Chinese version of the phone, you can go for the new update which comes with features like optimized side-slip gesture.
