The OnePlus 6T is a new phone that was launched with new features. The handset has an on-screen fingerprint scanner, small notch, and a bigger screen real estate. The camera and the hardware have also been improved and it uses OxygenOS. The OnePlus 5T, on the other hand, is equally an amazing smartphone with good features as well. The headset doesn’t look like a 2018 smartphone because of the thicker bezels on the front and bottom.
Thanks to the Snapdragon 835 chipset, it will still perform faster. We will be looking at the comparison between the OnePlus 6T and the OnePlus 5T smartphone.

The OnePlus 5T features Aluminium on the overall body. The phone measures 6.15 in x 2.95 in x 0.29 in and 164 gram.  The OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, is wrapped with the combination of Aluminium and glass. The phone looks more elegant and beautiful.
It has on-screen fingerprint scanner with dual rear cameras, while the OnePlus 5T has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The OnePlus 5T has a screen display size of 6.01 inches FHD+ with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 Pixels and 401 PPI density, while the OnePlus 6T has a slightly bigger screen size of 6.41 inches FHD+ with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 Pixels and 395 PPI density.

The OnePlus 5T packs Snapdragon 835, paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options. You will get an upgraded, newer, faster Snapdragon 845 chipset on the OnePlus 6T. The RAM and memory remain the same, it’s only the 64GB inbuilt storage that has been ditched. The OnePlus 5T runs on Android 8.0 Oreo, while the OnePlus 6T runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

No matter what, the OnePlus 5T still remains a great phone. The OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, has been upgraded with a better chipset, bigger battery, sleek body design, and on-screen fingerprint scanner. So the phone will outperform the OnePlus 5T.
