The latest flagship "OnePlus 7 Pro" by the OnePlus company is experiencing problems such as Ghost Touch issues, camera issues, etc. A new issue has been reported that this flagship killer is getting automatically shut down.
Several users have reported on OnePlus Forum that their Oneplus 7 Pro is getting shut down on their own without any prior notification or message. A specific thread has been created relating to this issue on the OnePlus forum.
It is to be noted that the phones are getting shut down and not switched off. It is so because you can't simply switch on the phone after the phone gets shut down. This is near to death situation. In order to bring back life to the affected phone, users are required to boot their OnePlus 7 Pro by long-pressing the volume up button and the power on/off button simultaneously.
Although a simple trick can be implemented to come out from this situation, the problem must be taken seriously by OnePlus as few users are facing it. A developer named pappschlump has commented on that particular thread saying that an issue is causing the kernel on the affected devices to crash leading to an unexpected shutdown.
.OnePlus has acknowledged this issue and has released a statement to Android Police promising that the company will fix this issue by providing a software update for OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. But the releasing date or timing for this update has not been mentioned in the statement.
We can only wait and hope that this update comes soon. You should also be aware of the news that OnePlus One recently caught fire when it is not even switched on or connected to a power source.
