OnePlus has begun rolling out a new Beta update to its OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. Included in the new beta update are tonnes of new features such as Fnatic gaming mode.

OnePlus has released the OxygenOS Open Beta 20 for OnePlus 6, Beta 21 for OnePlus 6T, Beta 34 for OnePlus 5 and Beta 32 for OnePlus 5T. The new update comes with Android 9.0 Pie Digital Wellbeing when installed. What this feature does is basically enable users to track the amount of time spent on the phone. Another feature on the new update is Wind Down. This feature basically turns the screen colour to grey scale.

Another feature is Fnatic mode which was introduced in the OnePlus 7 Pro. What this feature does is boost the performance and network reception to enable users to get an immersive gaming experience on their OnePlus smartphones. The update also comes with the latest June security patch.

One important thing to note, however, is that this is beta software and as such, it may contain glitches, bugs, and errors and may not be as stable as official updates. If you have already flashed your smartphone with previous Open Beta builds, then you should be able to install the update via OTA.

A few weeks ago, OnePlus rolled out Zen Mode and native screen recorder option for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T with OxygenOS beta update. The Zen mode feature allows users to remain undistracted by their device by disabling the phone for 20 minutes. This will help the users to enjoy their surroundings or simply focus on work without being distracted.

Even more, the OxygenOS beta comes with a native screen recorder as well as support for VoLTE/VoWiFi for some additional networks. The company notes that the beta update fixes issues inside the Facebook Messenger and it also offers a smoother scrolling experience with added support for PIN-TO-TOP for notification category.
