Oppo always knows how to amaze its fans and the general public. The Dongguan-based company presented a new phone: it is the Oppo A7X, a mid-range that was launched yesterday in the Chinese market.
The smartphone is added to the list of phones that have chosen to have a “waterdrop” “notch” style, or in the form of a drop of water. In addition, the new Oppo device features a dual camera on the back and a gradient design. The device has a 6.3-inch display with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and a 90.8% “screen-to-body” ratio.
The launch price of the Oppo A7X is 2099 Yuan (about 263 euros), as listed on the Chinese company’s website. The smartphone will be on sale starting September 14th at 10:00 AM Beijing time and will be available in the Star Purple and Ice Flame Blue color options. Launch offers include original Oppo MH133 headphones and a 3 month EMI option without paying any additional fees.
Oppo A7X works on Color OS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and presents, as mentioned, a 6.3-inch display with “waterdrop” notch. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor MediaTek Helio P60 2.0GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM and a GPU MP3 Mali-G72, in addition to the 128 GB internal memory.
The Oppo A7X dual rear camera, arranged horizontally, has a 16-megapixel sensor (and another 2 MP), while the front camera has an 8-megapixel lens with features related to artificial intelligence.
Color OS 5.2 introduces a new “Do Not Disturb” mode, an AI feature that allows you to scan business cards and documents and a smart sidebar that has already been sighted for the first time on the Oppo F9 Pro. The design of the device is also strongly inspired by Oppo F9 Pro, and this is also why some industry experts consider it a sort of Chinese variant renamed Oppo F9.
