The Oppo A7X is a new phone from Oppo that was launched with a bigger battery, big screen, and a generous inbuilt storage. The handset also packs the popular notch which is not that big and it has a beautiful body design and other regulars.
The Oppo A3 also seems to come with similar features as the Oppo A7X. The handset lacks a fingerprint which makes a better alternative to those that prefer Face ID on the notch and it also comes with a huge inbuilt storage and an ample RAM. Both phones no doubt will be offering a decent performance to users. We will be comparing the Oppo A7X with the Oppo A3 smartphone in this post.
In this article we talk about:

On the body, the Oppo A7X is built with a glass on the front and a metal on the back. The phone has a beautiful notch on the front which is appealing to the eye and the curve screen edges make everything looks premium. It measures 74.0 mm x 156.7 mm x 8.0 mm in dimensions and weight 169 gram.
The Oppo A3 also sports a nice body that is built with metal on the overall and it measures 75.3 mm x 156.0 mm x 7.8 mm in dimensions and weight 159 gram. It’s available in Black, Red, Rose-Gold, and Silver colors, while the Oppo A7X is available only in Purple and Blue colors. The Oppo A7X have a fingerprint scanner on the back, and it also has a premium and beautiful body design than the Oppo A3 smartphone.
Oppo A7X VS Oppo A3: Display
The Oppo A7X has a body display size of 6.3 inches FHD+ with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 Pixels and 409 pixels per inch density, while the Oppo A3 has almost the same screen size of 6.2 inches Full HD+ with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 Pixels and 407 pixels per inch density.
The notch on the Oppo A7X increased the screen to body ratio up to 84%, while the Oppo A3 has a screen to body ratio of 82%. On the display, users will be getting almost the same treatment from both of phones, but the Oppo A7X will offer bigger screen experience to users than the later.
Oppo A7X VS Oppo A3: Camera
The Oppo A7X has a dual rear camera of 16 Megapixels + 2 Megapixels with dual LED flash, while the Oppo A3 comes with a single rear camera of 16 Megapixels with dual LED flash as well.
On the front, both phones have the same selfie snapper of 8 Megapixels with F2.2 Aperture and Face Recognition features. The Oppo A7X has been upgraded with the triple camera against the dual camera on the Oppo A3 smartphone. So the point goes to the Oppo A7X in this category.
Oppo A7X VS Oppo A3: Performance
On the performance, you will hardly notice any difference between both phones because they are equipped with the same chipset and processor. Both the Oppo A7X and the Oppo A3 has a MediaTek Helio P60 MT6771 chipset with an octa-core processor of 2.00GHz ARM Cortex A73 and 8-core. They have the same ARM Mali G72 MP3 800MHz GPU with 4GB of RAM and an inbuilt memory of 128GB which is also expandable.
Oppo A7X VS Oppo A3: Battery & Price

On the price, both phones fall under $300.
I will gladly choose the Oppo A7X over the Oppo A3 not because of the dual camera, nor the small notch, but because of the nice curved body and also because of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the phone. Whereas the Oppo A3 only has a Face ID for security.
Since they both fall under the same price bracket with similar hardware, the Oppo A7X is better than the later.
